New Certification: VMware Certified Technical Associate (VCTA)

VMware just release a new start of certification targeted on operators, VMware Certified Techical Associate (VCTA). This is not a replacement of the previous VMware Certified Associate (VCA), but rather this is targeted someone with some knowledge of technical experience and running day 2 operations.

As stated this is not a prerequisite for VMware Certified Professional (VCP) which is a higher level of certification. You can directly attempt to VCP.

Before taking any VMware exam it is always good to check out the exam guide. Check out the VCTA exam guide. Check out the FAQ regarding VCTA and the tracks available.

p.s.

I am honoured to be part of this new exam development for VCTA DCV with a group of like minded individuals. Adding the number 11th exam to my bucket of contributions.
