For those who missed the first half application or wasn't to the cut and have made improvement as suggested from the comments given, the application for second half is now open! You might be already doing it why not apply and get accredited.  So start drafting and save your application and remember to submit them by 24th July US. You should expect the results to be out in Aug time frame. As usual if you need help or advice, feel free to approach any of the vExpert Pro nearest to you. First of all congrats to all vExpert 2025 announced . This year, there is some additional entitlement not made known to the community. I was surprised when I received the below email: And yes, you got it. All vExpert 2025 are given a year of VMUG Advantage entitlement. This includes a 50% one time certification fee and many more which you can find out more here . This is definitely an icing on the cake.

With April's Fool day in US, came the announcement of the results .  Of course this is not an April's Fool joke definitely.  Definitely the program team has put in much effort to release this results in just less than 2 months. This year we have a great number of vExperts, a total of 754.  That is a great increased from last year 581.  This is indeed great news as we are seeing the communities has grown tremendously. Of course if you missed out the application or just started in contributing in whichever ways in the VMware communities, you can still apply for vExpert 2014 every quarterly with the new initiative of vExpert 2014 program as I have previously mentioned here .  The application form is open all year round and results will be announced every quarterly. There are many benefits for just been a VMware vExpert.  As previously posted on some of the benefits for vExpert 2013, here is another one provided by SolidFire .  SolidFire will be conducting a exclusive event for the vExpert community on a technical discussion and a demo of their product. The results of the vExpert 2013 accreditation is released!  A list of the people are listed here .  I am glad to be part of this accreditation again for the 2nd time. For those who have achieved vExpert 2013, Tintri is offering a free T-shirt to congrats all of you here . (This has ended.) I have shared my first experience in my previous post , those who are motivated to be one do start doing some contribution to the community.  You can be a technology evangelist or even a blogger or just a forum participants who contribute back to the communities. Sharing is caring and we live by these communities to have our life in any roles in the virtualization space and be awarded with this accreditation.
